Stylistic etudes in the Jazz Idiom is a compilation of 120 etuddes composed by seven respected performers/educators in the jazz area. Each respective chapter contains five etudes each in the swing,ballad, and latin/funk categories. Each group of the five beginning at a MEDIUM level and progressing in difficulty withetude that follows. There are a total of fifteen etudes stylistically and individually composed for each instrument, Inc: Piano, Sax, Trumpet, Trombone, Guitar, Bass, and drums.
