John Adams, the composer of this easily played collection, was a pupil of C. S. Lang of Tuba Tune fame. His preludes, mostly just two pages, bear all the hallmarks of an organist who writes with affection for and understanding of his instruments. Contains 10 preludes for Organ to compliment the hymn tunes: Aurelia, Melita, Picardy, Darwell's 148th, Horsley, Richmond, St.Anne, Hyfrydol, Love Divine and Truro.
