MOZART CD The last ten years of Mozart's life, spent in Vienna, coincided with the growing development & popularity of the clarinet. In particular, Mozart found inspiration in the playing of the Stadler brothers, resulting in his Clarinet Concerto & Clarinet Quintet for Anton Stadler. The Five Divertimentos were also probably written for the Stadlers. They were originally designed for the related instrument, the basset-horn, but first published in the present scoring for two clarinets & bassoon
