Four Pieces for Flute solo are just right to venture into new music. They were written upon a request from UE for the volume Flute Project, where five composers were supposed to collaborate with five well-known Flute players. Victoria Borisova-Ollas collaborated with Emmanuel Pahud. He sent a feed-back on the written music, which was very much appreciated. The titles of the Four Pieces are supposed to trigger the imagination of (young) players and their audience.
